British-Jamaican menswear designer Martine Rose has unveiled her latest footwear collaboration with Nike dubbed the 'Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4.' The eye-catching new sneakers were debuted during Martine Rose's Spring 2023 show at London Fashion Week.
Maintaining her penchant for rave, punk, and hip-hop-inspired aesthetics, the new sneaker reimagines Nike's iconic Shox silhouette through a disruptive, countercultural lens. The original Shox model was designed for running and featured a variety of performance-focused elements. Here, however, the sneaker has been reworked and now features a pointy toe and elevated heel, lending the silhouette a one-of-a-kind high-fashion look.
The Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4 was shown in two colorways -- a black and red version and an all-white colorway -- both of which won't hit retailers until Spring 2023.
