There is an eccentricity in each of Manulution's products that nevertheless do not compromise the traditional makeup of each piece of furniture. Quirky yet classic, Manulution seems to walk a tightrope between the two, striking a fine balance that satisfies both creativity and longevity.
Founded in 1927 by Adem Niksic, Manulution has been revitalized by his grandchildren. Although they hold onto Manulution's legacy for beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina cultural influences, the now Washington-based company has injected a modern feel to each of its products that compliment Manulution's overall avant-garde aesthetic.
With Manulution's traditional carving techniques, the company is nevertheless able to create "lines of modern, designer furniture [that] are the testimony of our young and innovative spirit," as the designers put it.
