Netflix series Making a Murder has skyrocketed in popularity with the exposure given to Steven Avery's convictions and trails. In light of the documentary's fame, bakery Lou Lou P's Delights has put together a series of macarons shaped like Avery throughout the ten years documented on the show. The biscuits showcase Avery's change in appearance through the years as the trials unfold.
The macarons capture Avery's ever-changing appearance from the beginning of the show till the end. His change in hairstyles, clothing choices and prison attire is documented with edible paint and icing. The cookies are made using the traditional French pastry recipe and filled with a light creamy centre.
The biscuit designs are a creative extension of consumer interest in documentary fandom.
