Unconventional Makeup Brushes

Artis' Elite Mirror Collection Reinvents Cosmetic Applicator Shapes

Although it's said that only the poor craftsmen blames their tools, makeup artist, educator and Artis founder Matthew Waitesmith knew that conventional makeup brushes were responsible for causing consumers frustration by not giving them the professional-quality results they desired. As Waitesmith puts it, "A tool should make something easier to do, not harder. And it's time the makeup brush did the work."

As a result, the stunning Elite Mirror Collection of makeup brushes from Artis was created. What's used to apply makeup is a patented man-made material called CosmeFibre, attached to a futuristic brush handle that has been completely redesigned with ergonomics in mind to allow better control, precision, grip and less effort in general.

Following this collection of makeup brushes, Artis is now working on a new set that takes inspiration from the human finger.
