Maison by Suhyun Yoo, an industrial designer based in Seoul, South Korea, is a USB drive system that has been modelled after different architectural designs from big buildings to more humble homes. By doing so, it signifies how it contains another little world for each user. The amount of digital information that is store on such devices does often equate to such a concept.
Held in a wooden dock and enclosed with a plastic dome, Maison by Suhyun Yoo is not only functional, but also pleasing to the eye. What makes the design more practical than playful, however, is the fact that it helps people organize their data more easily. For instance, one building can contain schoolwork while another is for personal information.
