Uplifting Gen Z Zines

Magazine for Young Girls Launched its First Issue

Magazine for Young Girls is a newly launched independent zine which spotlights talent from Asia and diaspora communities, combining fashion, pop culture, beauty and more into an artsy publication that's set to entertain and inspire.

The publication was created after a successful Kickstarter campaign run by creators Eom Jisoo and Wei Ting Wong. According to the pair, the title of the zine was intentionally broad and aims to encompass all definitions of what 'young girl' can mean. The first issue explores youth and womanhood as it relates to a variety of lenses, including pop culture, beauty, society, and fashion.

Magazine for Young Girls aims to serve as a platform for young women to uplift one another while expressing themselves.
