Mae Lapres might remain tied up in each and every one of the images of her latest editorial, but there is so much going on it's easy to overlook this interesting choice of accessories. From graphic backdrops and painterly brushstrokes to the different materials of the outfits and how they layered, this sexual undertone is just that -- a very subtle undertone.

Shot by photographer Liu Song, the colorful editorial is set to appear in Vogue China. Mae Lapres was styled head to toe by Yoyo Yao, who pulled visually striking pieces from such fashion houses as Céline, Jacquemus and Rosie Assoulin. The looks were perfected by makeup artist Parco Cheung and hair stylist Qian Xu, who went with a ruby red lip and tousled tresses. This contrasts nicely with the structured outfits.
