Lyft and Amtrak Partnered to Offer Riders In-App Pickups

Lyft and Amtrak have teamed up in a perfect partnership that's helping train riders get to their front doors with greater ease than before.

Amtrak trains are an incredibly popular form of travel, and according to Lyft, trips to and from the Amtrak station are the most commonly occurring routes. In order to accommodate the high volume of people who request to be picked up from the stations, Amtrak and Lyft have arranged for patrons to now be able to conveniently order a ride home.

Lyft has been expanding its brand to better align itself with consumer convenience. Most notably, the company joined forces with Taco Bell to offer an in-app pit stop to the fast food joint for late-night riders with the munchies.
