Nightlights and pillows are slowly becoming one in the same as indicated by Takanori Matsukobo's Luminube pillow. The Luminube pillow is a cozy head cushion complete with five glowing LED lights inside. The lights can be set to a timer using your smartphone allowing your pillow, not your alarm, to wake up you up in the morning.
The Luminube pillow is part of the growing nightlight renaissance. Although there are very few pillow nightlights out now, I wouldn't be surprised to see more and more designers jump on the bandwagon. Integrating a light into a pillow just makes sense as fumbling around for a lamp or light switch in the dark is no fun for anyone and requires you to leave the bed.
