The Luis Organizer Was Adapted from a Playtime Model Metropolis

What might delight you more than your first impression of the Luis Organizer's appearance is the story behind how it came to be. Juan Luis and Isabel of OLI13 were inspired by their son, with this project developing from a child's favorite pastime.

While playing cars with the young boy, a parent helped to build a little city that included an airport, roads and houses. This modeled urban plan was then picked up, turned over and then instantly appreciated as an interesting project from yet another perspective.

From the little boxy masses, cubbies, pockets and shelves were constructed. Luis Organizer's abstract shape makes it great for holding an assorted collection of possessions within its cheerful yellow frame.
