Luis Martes' 'States of the Heart' Will Make You Give Up Steak

Somebody call PETA quick, and by PETA I mean, People for the Ethical Treatment of Accessories: Luis Martes' 'States of the Heart' project is a fashion shoot that features models, shoes, jewelry, and bloody raw beef.

It's the models and accessories that get the raw deal here; they're shot covered by or clutching raw meat. Despite being a little gross, it's still great art. My favorite image from Luis Martes' 'States of the Heart' project is the one of the gold stiletto stabbing a steak. Delicious.
