British artist Lucy Williams creates painting-like artworks that are in fact not paintings at all! Her 3D collages of early modernist architecture use mixed media art and are an interesting twist on the representation of real architecture. Her use of texture, colors, shadows and layering makes each of her pieces stand out.

According to the Timothy Taylor Gallery, where Williams' works are showcased, "Williams' primary interest lies in the interplay of representation that the Modernist source material so lends itself to in descriptions of geometric and modular blocks of material and color."
