Loewe Presents the Installations from its Foundation Craft Prize

Spanish fashion house Loewe recently announced the winner of its Foundation Craft Prize award which occurs annually. Now, it is all currently on show as a part of an art exhibition of the shortlisted projects as a part of NYCxDesign. It takes place at the Noguchi Museum in Queens and highlights work from 30 artisans that come from 16 different counties. The winner was Eriko Inazaki who created the intricate Metanoia piece.

Loewe's Creative Director Jonathan Anderson speaks about the winning design, stating "It's a magical piece. It's one of those things where you don't really know what it's made from until you really inspect it. It has an incredible depth of field, which I think is very unusual in ceramics. There's not anything out there that looks like that."
