The title of the art installation reflects the visual paradoxes that the artist is known for. Shechet is known for her work creating vibrant sculptures that are reflective of totem poles, using a wide range of materials such as clay and paint.
The new exhibition is made up of materials including wood, powder-coated steel, brass, and glazed ceramic. Every single artwork is chromatically complete to perfectly complement one another when on display. Talking about her work, she once stated that “I don’t make drawings [...] I don’t figure it out before. I grab these things and put one next to the other,”
