Lucille is the name of a new, clean, high-protein shake for older adults with a dietitian-crafted formula designed to deliver 20 grams of protein, five grams of fiber and convenient calories in a smooth, great-tasting blend that simplifies daily nourishment. "When my 91-year-old grandmother Lucille was in and out of hospitals recovering from atrial fibrillation, the nutrition options available to her were ultra-processed, clinical, and joyless. The exact opposite of my spunky, full-of-life grandma," said founder Jess Haghani. Knowing she could do better for her grandmother, Jess set out to craft a nutritious, easy-to-consume solution that met her standards—something she'd make for Lucille herself.
The high-protein shake free from soy, lactose, seed oils, gluten, sugar alcohols, and carrageenan officially launches soon as a real-food alternative to the market's many artificially processed shakes.
