Native of Biarritz, France, Lucie Malbequi is an 18-year-old artist who is now dabbling in photography. Her artistic endeavors began with painting, and now Lucie Malbequi is getting a B.A. in fine art while the world is recognizing her delicate photography, which she describes as “the testimony of current youth.”
The philosophical nature of the photos are reminiscent of Milan Kundera’s novel ‘The Unbearable Lightness of Being.’ With that said, her photos have somewhat of a desolate feel to them, but the light in the frames bounces back and create a universe of its own.
