Furry Military Hats

The 'Louis Vuitton: The Chicest Taboo' Shoot is Full of Soldier-Inspired Style

Military styling makes a welcome return to fashion this season and the next, and perhaps no couture house does this solder-inspired aesthetic better than Louis Vuitton. The Louis Vuitton: The Chicest Taboo shoot, photographed by James Meakin, features the fashion label's penchant for combining military looks with elegance and sophisticated femininity.

Styled by Charlie Harrington, with fashion assistant Frankie Graddon, the Louis Vuitton: The Chicest Taboo shoot features model 'Aiste,' who dons pretty yet no-nonsense pieces. This includes a sheer crinoline mesh skirt, patent leather strappy boots, a couple of wool jumpers and a military-style shearling hat. Collars seem to be a big accent as well: the shoot shows off a varnished leather collar as well as a gold plated metal version.

Carl Reeves and Kevin Murphy completed the hair for the shoot, with makeup by Ashley Ward (and assistant Jo Hamilton), who used Chanel makeup and skincare products.
