With the increasing tax pressures, many UK-based pubs are struggling to remain open -- which is why Britain’s Beer Alliance is trying to rally Brits to save their favorite pubs with the launch of its new #LongLiveTheLocal Campaign. The campaign highlights the shocking fact that three pubs a day close in the UK due to beer taxes; a tax that is 12 times higher than that of Germany.
