Panoramic photographer Jeffrey Martin has created 'London 80 Gigapixels,' a fully spherical panoramic photo that appears on 360Cities.net, a site the photographer founded. Martin shot 7,886 photos over three days in the summer of 2010 and then spent six weeks stitching them into one of the world's largest photographic images.

London 80 Gigapixels allows viewers to take a virtual tour flying over the rooftops of the city. The website also features two treasure hunts and a storytelling competition.

Implications - The 'London 80 Gigapixels' is a high-resolution virtual tour. The image presents phenomenal views of the city, and is unlike any high-resolution footage previously captured.
