Locally Inspired Hotel Renovations

Metropolitan at The 9 Unveils Cleveland-Focused Redesign

Metropolitan at The 9 is introducing locally inspired hotel renovations across its Cleveland property, combining contemporary interiors with elements that reflect the city's architectural heritage. The redesign covers all 156 guestrooms and suites, alongside shared spaces, while preserving original headboards inspired by the building's exterior detailing.

Spanning more than 100,000 square feet, the project incorporates hardwood flooring, custom furniture, quartz countertops, and more than 300 artworks featuring Cleveland imagery. Local businesses contributed millwork, stone surfaces, framing, and upholstery, bringing regional craftsmanship into the updated spaces. Guestroom renovations are complete, with remaining work scheduled for November 5, 2026.

For Metropolitan at The 9, the transformation offers an opportunity to improve guest comfort while maintaining the property's distinctive identity. Working with local suppliers also supports regional businesses, while the refreshed accommodations and social areas strengthen the hotel's appeal to visitors.
