The lip drawings of Christo Dagorov will astound people. Although they might look like superimposed photos of female mouths and scenes of nature, they are actually illustrations executed with pencil. Full of incredible detail, the lip drawings depict the texture of this body part in a surreal way. Yet there is something almost realistic about the aesthetic as well.
Based in Switzerland, the artist works in a freelance capacity and is self-taught. Specializing in painting, sculpture and furniture design, the lip drawings are an impressive example of his skill and talent. Since they are done completely in pencil, the lip drawings are only available in black and white images. Yet this grayscale palette allows the details to stand out all the more.
