Users can now post 30 second clips through the LinkedIn Video iOS app called 'Record.' The gist of the video feature is to allow visual dialogue on topics curated by the company's editorial team or topics created by the LinkedIn community. Currently the ability to use Record is available to LinkedIn's 500 influencers. The company is looking to provide a new way for users to access professional information and influencer viewpoints, which was originally only available through written posts -- similar to blogging.
