Li-Ning's New Capsule for FW19 Explores China's Beauty

Fashion label Li-Ning is from China and it recently unveiled new looks at the New York and Paris Fashion Week -- the new Humanity and Nature: Walkers, Wanderers, Explorers capsule prepares to drop in the following month. The range is designed in preparation for the Fall/Winter 2019 season and it draws inspiration from bucolic China's beauty.

The dynamic designs blend both contemporary looks with heritage roots. There are pieces including nylon tracksuits, which draw attention to the 90s, along with Mandarin-clad sweaters for drapey looks, large parka, and anoraks, as well as bold sneaker designs as well. Notably, the colorful designs border between tech wear and sportswear without swaying away from its Chinese sensibility. Liad Krispin explains that "with Li-Ning’s FW19 lookbook project, we wanted to examine the collection’s themes of exploration, of embarking on both a literal and figurative journey, but in a haphazard, lighthearted, and playful way.”
