Limited-Edition Collaborative Sakes

SOTO Sake Unveil Exclusive Series with Japan's Breweries

SOTO Sake has announced its release of a new limited-edition collaborative sakes series with Japan's sake producers called the SOTO X YAMAGATA MASAMUNE Omachi Kimoto Junmai Daiginjo. Michael Tremblay, a world-renowned Sake Samurai, said: "Sake lovers will adore this first release in partnership with my friends at the Mitobe Sake Brewery, whose sake I have admired for many years for its intensity of flavor and food-friendly profile."

The sake series features an exclusive sake made with fifth-generation Tomonobu Mitobe of Yamagata's Mitobe Sake Brewery and also the maker of the Yamagata Masamune sake. The exclusive sake entails a Kimoto Junmai Daiginjo sake made with ancient Omachi rice. The sake was made with the Kimoto method, and its Omachi rice had to be polished 50 percent of its initial size with the addition of mineral-rich mountain water. The sake bottle was designed by award-winning designer Joe Doucet. The sake series will be available for purchase in the summer.
