Although New York's MetroCards will soon be phased out, the Metropolitan Transit Authority has recently unveiled a series of limited-edition MetroCards designed by the esteemed artist Barbara Kruger.

Only 50,000 of these cards will be in circulation and are available at only four subway stations throughout the city. The cards feature a vivid red backdrop with contrasting white lettering, which boasts phrases such as "Who is Healed?" or "Who Speaks?" in reference to the artist's 1991 work "Untitled (Questions)" and "Whose Values?" Each card features four of these iconic quotes, promising to be an unconventional collector's item.

The limited-edition MetroCards will be available at vending machines at Queensboro Plaza, Broadway-Lafayette Street, East Broadway and 116th Street station.
