Lime Out VI is a Floating Taco Bar in the Caribbean
Katherine Pendrill — April 2, 2019 — World
If you're looking to truly get away from it all, but don't want to sacrifice your favorite foods, Lime Out VI has you covered. Located in the middle of Hansen Bay, this floating restaurant is the perfect place for water lovers to refuel.
Lime Out VI is a floating taco stand located 200 feet off St. John's Hansen Bay Beach. While running a taco stand in the middle of open water may sound challenging, the bar's co-owner Chelsea Baranowski explains that the bar features a uniquely sustainable design. Not only are there solar panels on the roof, but the restaurant also uses biodegradable containers, recyclable cups, and does not serve straws. The customers who boat up or swim up also seem to enjoy the novelty of enjoying a tasty snack without leaving the water.
