McDonald's Finland is Serving Up Licorice Shakes

For a limited time, McDonald's Finland has made an unconventionally colored Licorice Shake on its menu. This polarizing shake combines the chain's shake base with licorice-flavored syrup. Perfect for Halloween, the frosty dessert conjures up images of a dystopian food future and shakes up expectations of what blended beverages are supposed to look like. Although licorice isn't a flavor that's loved by all, this unmissable gray shake promises to be a hit with those who can't get enough of the taste.

Alongside the regular Licorice Shake, McDonald's Finland is also offering the Monster Freak Shake (inspired by Sesame Street's Cookie Monster, it comes swirled with blue color and topped with crushed Oreos) and Lazy Sundae Deluxe (with vanilla soft serve, strawberry-lime sauce, meringue crumbles and whipped cream.)
