Concrete Amsterdam Designs the Liberties House Interior

— October 14, 2025 — Eco
The interior design for Liberties House, a co-living residential development in Dublin, was conceived by Concrete Amsterdam. The project encompasses 371 private studio apartments alongside a variety of shared common areas.

For the design philosophy, Concrete Amsterdam drew inspiration from the historical and cultural context of the surrounding neighborhood, known as The Liberties. As such, the firm incorporated nods to local artistic elements to establish a unique sense of place. A key focus of the apartment design is the efficient use of a relatively small footprint, with standard units measuring 17 square meters. This is achieved through integrated, multi-functional built-in furniture that consolidates storage, sleeping, and living functions into a single continuous unit. The Liberties House's communal spaces, on the other hand, are arranged as an open, multi-level landscape intended to foster resident interaction.
