The 505 Levi's Jeans Were the Center of an Elaborate New York Party

As a means to pay tribute the rich history that's associated with Levi's jeans and to promote the company's relaunch of a classic model, it collaborated the V&A Museum in London to help bring its story to the public.

In order to do this, the iconic 505 Levi's jeans were shown throughout the event in the form of vintage ads and celebrity endorsements by way of album covers from bands like The Rolling Stones and the Ramones.

In addition to being popular among rock stars and those involved in other counter-culture movements during the 1970s, the 505 Levi's jeans are said to have contributed to diversifying gender roles, given the fact that women took to wearing the design even though it was originally made for men.
