Nobody seems to have thought Reebok and Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester were going to be a successful marketing combination, but critics were chastised and many have raved after seeing the way Reebok and Meester blended into a successful launch of their new ‘Top Down Shoes" for women.
Meester and Reebok have, of course, worked together in the past, but it seems she’s definitely their female face for marketing to women.
Even though the persona of Meester’s Gossip Girl character doesn’t coincide with Reebok, Meester definitely does, and somehow is able to make you forget her screen image and successfully navigates the marketing waters to present "Top Down Shoes" in a way that works for a lot of women.
Meester was at the Lady Food Locker Herald Square in New York City promoting the new shoe line.
