A lego mockup of the Allianz Arena was constructed with a million of parts of lego. Allianz Arena, in Munich, is the officual site of the World Cup. The lego version of the stadium also has a thousand lights that are configured just like the official stadium.
Implications - This just goes to show you that there literally is no limit to the awesomeness that a creative application like LEGO can achieve. Although not meant for real patrons, this is one seriously cool replica that is mindbogglingly detailed. The amount of time that must have been required to painstakingly assemble over a million pieces of LEGO alone makes this a creation worth taking note of.
