Based on the Greek myth of the same name, the Leda and the Swan photo series is a modern interpretation that seems to substitute the Zeus disguised as a swan character with a Porsche Escada car instead. Although this photoshoot isn't as sensual as the classic myth is, a relationship between the model and the car is definitely evident.
Photographed by Alex Rank in collaboration with the American-based firm adNAU (also known as Tino Schaedler) who created the digitally designed set, the Leda and the Swan series is serene, stark and romantic -- all qualities that are often found in swans.
Although the Leda and the Swan photo series is modern in its minimalist aesthetic, the strategic lighting creates a dramatic look that harks back to another era.
