The LeBron James Face Mask Buzz Has Reached a Fever Pitch

The LeBron James face mask saga continues with Marvel taking up the helm. LeBron made news for a few different things recently, one of which being his spectacular play (as always) and one being his Batman-style face mask. Marvel has used LeBatman James as inspiration for a comic photo using his likeness.

In one of the most epic match ups in the NBA all year, LeBron James faced off against his training buddy and on-court rival Kevin Durant. Though he won the game, he was smashed in the nose by Durant's teammate and required the use of a face mask. In the NBA face masks aren't uncommon but only when LeBron donned the all black one did 'LeBatman Begin'.

Though the league banned the usage of the mask after one game Marvel caught on and created an image with "King James" donning a Captain America themed mask. Maybe one day we'll start seeing the infamous LeBron James face mask in stores, but until then, Cap themed will have to do.
