The Le Trulle lamp is a stunning light fixture that is at once old world and modern. The bottom half of the design boasts a cage-like aesthetic that will bring to mind decorative birdcages while the top half is smooth and simple, which speaks to contemporary sensibilities. Together, there is a graceful elegance to the Le Trulle lamp that will complement many living spaces.
Designed by Edmondo Testaguzza for Italian manufacturer Karmen, the Le Trulle lamp are made out of natural ceramic and metallic thread. They are available in three different shapes, all of which complement a clustering effect. As written on the Karmen website, and poorly translated by Google. "Those trulli, fragments of our past, resist [all] of time and continue to suggest[...]. Their shape, the warmth of their embrace not forget, the scent of their skies does not dissolve with the distance."
