Should you be doubting your faith in humanity, then you'll want to take a look at the Le Petit Prince photo series. This series was shot by Slovenian photographer and psychologist Matej Peljhan. Peljhan specializes in photographic therapy, and the subject of his series is Lukas, a 12-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy. Peljhan lost an arm and an eye in a childhood accident, which makes it easier for him to empathize with boys like Lukas.
The photos in the series depict Lukas doing everything from snorkeling to breakdancing. The Le Petit Prince photo series is equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking. However, the whimsical look on Lukas' face is enough to dispel any sad feelings you might encounter when checking out Le Petit Prince.
