Although the LazyAnt Crystal photo series could have easily been a fun Photoshop experiment, I see a deeper meaning in each of these images. It is as though each one is commenting on the superficiality linked to many women in modern society. Many of us are so consumed by materialistic desires that we actually become them.

Photographed by two young Russian photographers, Kirill Smyslov and Nastya Kazakova, the LazyAnt Crystal photo series is incredibly surreal. The creatives in the LazyAnt photography studio are masters at retouching; this series is just one example of what they are capable of.

I really like how full attention is brought to the models in the LazyAnt Crystal photo series. Considering that the effect of these hybrids is so jarring, anything more and the images would have been too busy.
