Design studio Marshmallow Laser Feast came up with a way to get people to interact with high-tech light shows in a way that feels both beautiful and natural by creating a forest made with laser beams.
Using computer technology to control the illuminated tendrils that make up the installation, the whole art piece becomes a new experience every time someone interacts with it. Projection mapping and real-time customization make the beams of light come alive as they move around and adjust to the different settings. Children can wander around and be amazed while adults can also find inspiration and wonder in the magical light show.
The Forest project by Marshmallow Laser Feast uses laser beams to transport people to a jungle set in the future.
