Larsson & Jennings Made a Smart Hybrid Connected Watch

Larsson & Jennings is perhaps best known as a high-end watchmaker, but the brand is looking to expand into the smartwatch sector with the Connect hybrid connected watch. Announced at the Baselworld 2018 watch show, the Larsson & Jennings Connect is still in an early prototype phase with the app still being in development. The watch falls into a unique new category known as hybrid smartwatches which blend modern technology without compromising aesthetic qualities.

The Larsson & Jennings Connect features the same beauty, class and style as all of the brand's collections, but also adds features seen in traditional smartwatches. A light—hidden under the 12 o'clock mark—flashes to alert the user of notifications and almost all the features can be controlled with an integrated app. The watch is set to come in both 38mm and 42mm variants, with each piece featuring a fairly low-profile design and the ability to track activity, sleep, calendar appointments and even provide basic control over the user's phone.
