Playfully Personified Lamps

The Korean Design Studio Named Rising Created 'Lamp Identity'

Rising, a Korean design studio managed to personify inanimate objects with its new lamps called 'Lamp Identity.' The firm simply added two black walking legs to the base of the lamp shades and suddenly the lamps became little people.

The product is simple: a white lamp shade and two tiny pieces that look like legs. The legs allow the lamp to get into different positions. It can stand on the table and can even get into a walking position. The possibilities are endless for this little guy. You can make him pretend to wait for a bus, walk a dog or even kneel beside a teapot.

The little black legs are so basic and yet suddenly the lamp is not just an object but an illuminated friend.
