Parmigiani Fleurier’s La Ravenale honours founder Michel Parmigiani with a meticulously crafted pocket watch that merges haute horlogerie and decorative art. The Lépine-style case is fashioned from 18-carat white gold shaped in homage to the symmetry of the Traveller’s Palm. The dial is treated with a blue finish, displaying hours, minutes and a small-seconds subdial.
On the reverse, the case exhibits opal and jade marquetry by LM Cadrans, combining shimmering opal fragments with serene jade inlay. The inner movement is a restored minute-repeater calibre from the 1920s made by Ed. Koehn, Genève. Its bridges and plates have been re-engraved with palm-leaf motifs to echo the watch’s tropical inspiration. The watch offers rich acoustic character via a two-gong repeater, visible through the sapphire case-back. Each La Ravenale is therefore both a statement of mechanical refinement and a wearable objet d’art.
