Grunge Legend Art Displays

These Kurt Cobain Paintings Will Be Showcased at the Seattle Art Fair

The Seattle Art Fair recently opened up, and news of its exhibit that features two never-before-seen Kurt Cobain paintings has already been widely spread.

Since his untimely death in 1994, the grunge legend who's best known for his work with Nirvana has been studied greatly among pop culture and music fanatics, meaning that the exhibition at the Seattle Art Fair is likely to garner a lot of attention among patrons this year.

Like much of his music, the Kurt Cobain paintings deal with subject matter that surrounds depression, drug addiction, and dark perceptions of the creative's self-image. In addition to the Kurt Cobain paintings, the exhibition will showcase some of the late artist's rough sketches and comic book strips.
