In the Super Mario universe, the Koopa Troopa is the villainous turtle character Mario is constantly trying to avoid running into. To replicate the turtle-shape of the Koopa Troopa, the burger patty is weaved with bacon and six pieces of all-beef hot dog to form the head, tail and four legs. The top bun is dipped in either a dark green or bright red edible food coloring to replicate the turtle shell.
