The clever design team at Kooee Snacks created a moisture-controlling packaging for its unique jerky trail mixes. The idea was to create a single package that would store separate ingredients without mixing them together.

The packaging uses a "rip -- peel -- mix" formula to contain the inherent water-activity between the various components of the mix. Broken down, the package is to be torn open at the top to allow consumers to peel back the center divider. This will allow the contents to be mixed together to create a delicious and fresh snack.

Each package of Kooee is made with a 12-month shelf life, which is a convenient factor for many consumers. The unique mix will stay fresh for about a year, which allows consumers to buy the product in bulk.
