Nils Holger Moorman's Klaffer is a miniature take on the Danish designer's popular full-size Siebenschlafer flat-pack bed. No, the Klaffer isn't a children's bed; the designer has already made the Spross bed for that. Rather, the Klaffer is even smaller -- it's a flat-pack dog bed.
Part of the appeal of flat-pack furniture is that it is so much easier, and thus cheaper, to transport. However, Moorman's flat-pack beds are even more portable than other flat-pack designs because they are completely without metal pieces. They instead use sturdy wooden slots and slats that can be taken apart and reassembled at will.
While such transport freedom isn't essential for a human bed, the flat-pack design is great for a dog bed, allowing owners to brings their pets' beds with them on trips without much hassle.
