Miso Robotics is on a mission to revolutionize the restaurant and prepared food industries with robotics and artificial intelligence solutions, including its new kitchen robot, Robot on a Rail (ROAR.) This innovation for commercial kitchens takes up virtually no space at all, as Flippy—the world's first autonomous robotic kitchen assistant—is situated upside-down on a floor-mounted rail. The system is designed to be installed under a standard kitchen hood so that it remains out of the way of human cooks.
The AI-powered Flippy is capable of cooking a variety of fried foods, including everything from onion rings and popcorn shrimp to sweet potato waffle fries. Miso Robotics anticipates that ROAR will be commercially available by the end of the year.
