Here's a designer that needs to upgrade their living conditions. Sayaka Yamamoto came up with a whole range of kitchen bugs that supposedly will have some purpose other than to freak you out in the middle of the night when you need to crack open that third bottle of wine.
Yamamoto took everyday utensils and classified them into different species.
Implications - Bizarre but amusing designs such as these don't take themselves too seriously; as such, they definitely appeal to consumers who do the same. Best of all, however, this kind of product would definitely be appreciated by consumers with children with whom they want to share a hobby like cooking.
