The North Face unveiled its latest expansive collection entitled 'Khumbu.' It is full of vibrant pieces and was designed with the inspiration of Nepal's Khumbu valley in mind. Designers looked specifically to the prayer flags of the Himalayas as an influence in creating a series of apparel that honors it. Most notably, the word "Khumbu" itself represents a testament towards The North Face's goal of crafting apparel that is inspired by the mountains and made for the city.
The lookbook for the new collection takes place on the streets of Kathmandu as an additional nod to the overarching theme. Some standout items from the collection are the 1990 Mountain Q jacket, the Raglan Red Box hoodie sweater and the Base Camp Duffel. Each style is crafted in the colorway options of the white, red, blue, yellow and green prayer flags.
