bPay's Keychain Key Rings Make Contactless Donations to UK Charities
Laura McQuarrie — April 28, 2017 — Tech
Donate The Change recently collaborated with Barclaycard on a new range of contactless wearables, including bracelets and keychain key rings, that make donating to various UK charities absolutely effortless.
The idea behind this new range is that now consumers will be able to carry out their cashless payments as per usual, but with the added bonus that a donation will automatically made when using these newly designed devices. For payments £30 and under, those who use these contactless payment devices have the option to set their desired donation rules, which can be set by determining a monthly donation cap or other options through the Donate The Change app.
For the launch of this collaboration, the new wearables will feature Donate The Change branding, but as of the autumn, Barclaycard describes that "charities will be able to create their own variations, allowing donors to illustrate their affinity to their chosen causes."
