Boldly Patterned Japanese Fashion

The New Kenzo Collection Was Debuted During Paris Fashion Week

At this year's Paris Fashion Week events, the Spring/Summer 2018 Kenzo collection made its debut.

The French luxury house that was founded by a Japanese designer named Kenzo Takada has long been celebrated for its bold use of color and unconventional patterns, and its latest collection does not disappoint in this regard. Although there's a variety of styles and color palettes that are utilized throughout the menswear line, the most prominent looks rely on vivid hues of ocean blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, and red. These color palettes are enhanced with the label's use of statement patterns as well, which include cartoonish floral combinations, clean horizontal stripes, and loud paisley designs. The Kenzo collection never shies away from unique textural elements either, with everything from smooth silk to fuzzy material comprising the pieces.
