Infrared Year-Long Photography

Katie Davis is Chronicling a Year's Worth of Infrared Pictures

Katie Davis, a Cape Town-based photographer, is making it her mission to take a photo everyday this year. Inspired by the ‘365 Project,’ Katie started a more niche rendition of the project all on her own called '365 Days in Infrared.' As of January 4th, she made it her mission to take a picture every day for the remainder of 2014.

Davis photographs scenic settings that range from the dreamy landscapes of South Africa to an array of tall-standing trees. Each one is shot sans the viewfinder and she adds further difficulty by choosing to capture the images as circles. The images then get chronicled on her social media accounts, which include Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.
